I'm travelling capital cities of each Swiss Canton and 2 days and a night is I think good enough to visit the city center itself. There are still more outdoor places to visit like lakes valleys mountains.

Immaculately clean and all facilities e.g. kitchen, bathroom and sitting room of a good standard. Great value for money. Patricia Haeger who managed the place was extremely helpful with storage of luggage as we stayed there for 2 non-consecutive nights. Excellent place and would go back there again when in Sion.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, although the WC was small. We dined at the hotel's restaurant and were delighted with our choices. I especially liked the grilled fruit with my veal curry dish, and the fromage plate was pleasantly full with local and other selections. I would recommend discovering, as we did, some of the neighbouring wines.

There’s a “common kitchen / seating area” but we only found out following morning before we left. That sitting area has a nice view as well as tables and board games.

You can reach the castle in a few minutes and also the main streets with nightlife. The interiors are amazing and very elegant. The kitchen is fully equipped. The main bed is very comfortable.
